Miniature White House on display in Skokie
KEEPING TRACK
The Miniature White House Exhibit, a detailed replica of the resident's home, will be on display through July 7 at Old Orchard shopping center M Skokie.
The White House is re-created on a scale of 1 inch to 1 foot, and stretches 60 feet from east to west wing. It represents more than 25 years of research and construction by designer and historian John Zweifel and his wife, Jan.
Visit the exhibit, free, on the southeast side of the mall near Plunkett Furniture from 10 am. to 9 p.m. Monday through Friday, 10 am. to 6 p.m. Saturday and II m. to 5 p.m. Sunday. Old Orchard is at Skokie Boulevard and Old Orchard Road, just east of the Edens Expy.
