Amazing display

Young visitors converge Friday on the Miniature White House exhibit at the Washington County Fair, where it will be on public display through Tuesday. In addition to John Zweifel's scale replica of the White House, the display includes a model of the Oval Office and a state dinner place setting. The exhibit has been a hit since coming on display on Oct. 4, said Managing Director Tom Meisenheimer. "It's wonderful," he said. "People of all ages from the little kids to seniors are really amazed by it."
